It is designed to protect law enforcement officers in conditions of mass disorder. The shield provides protection against bladed weapons, stones and sticks. It is made of aluminum alloy and has two handles: one for the right and one for the left hand. There are inspection holes along the bottom and top edges, and stiffeners along the long sides. On the inside, between the handles, there is a strap for attaching the shield to the elbow joint.
